Things are going weird over here

So like a week ago I broke npm on my computer and I have no clue how to fix this. This is a problem because I use eleventy to compile my website and this blog, and that is a node package. I actually just set up a Docker image to be able to compile this blog lol. I’ve been thinking it could be nice to do a fresh install on this PC. I’ve learned a good bit, and I wanna explore some new things like using Niri as my window manager so having a fresh install of Arch would also give me the freedom to screw around a bit.
Not super related but I have also been using Debian 13 on my laptop and it’s pretty solid there, though it feels too slow-moving update-wise for my liking. It’s good for the laptop cause I can leave it and expect it to just work, maybe having a few updates to install but that’s it. The desktop is where I get to mess around and have my fun.
That’s all I really got, I would consider fixing npm if I knew more about nodejs, but I’ve tried a fair few things and it does NOT want to work. I’m also not that put off by the idea of resetting my PC, I’ve done it many-a-times before and I find it weirdly therapeutic to go through and install all the software and stuff I want. Plus I get to get rid of all the random junk I’ve installed that I can’t recall. Seriously, 8 vulnerabilities? How did that even happen?? I don’t use nodejs like ever besides this???? Thank goodness I broke everything node-related...
I wonder if there’s any python-based static site generators, that’s a language I’m more competent in lol
